The Lorna Hicks Youth Cultural House (THE HOUSE) TEMPORARY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19
To provide youth with a safe and supportive place. Giving youth new experiences and opportunities to build positive relationships, overcome barriers, develop positive self esteem, confidence and skills for life and learning. The House provides Youth with a respectful, inclusive and engaging environment. A place that engages youth and helps them build relationships with peers, family and community while providing leadership, growth, career development and empowerment.
The Youth House focuses on programming for ages 13 to 19 years. With a strong focus on life skills, healthy choices, relationship building and life long learning, the House is truly a great place to be.
The House is free to become a member and is open 5 days a week from 3 pm until 9pm.
