Early Learning Centre

At Petitcodiac Boys & Girls Club, we are committed to the promotion and delivery of quality child care. We believe that each child is a unique individual, develops at different levels, and learns through active investigation and discovery of their natural environment through hands on play-based activities. Our educated and experienced staff will work in collaboration with the New Brunswick Emergent Curriculum Framework, through observation and documentation of children's play. Program planning will emerge from the child's interest and will provide learning experiences.

Our Programs will focus on the child's essential development of Root skills in these Domains; emotional and social diversity, building self-awareness through communication and Literacy, cognitive problem solving, Physical development, Well Being, Play and Playfulness.

Rates

The Board of Directors set childcare fees annually, having regard to the budgetary needs and the non-profit status of the centre. We are sensitive to the need for affordable childcare as well as our objective of not compromising the high quality of care provided. Reasonable notice will be given prior to any changes in fees.

Our program is licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. With licensing we are given a number of childcare spaces. The number is determined by floor/play space per child. When you register your child in our centre you are buying a space. That space cannot be given to another, until your child is no longer attending our centre. Therefore you are financially responsible for that space. All fees are to be paid in advance of services. Payment in the form of Pre-Authorized Payment. Payment not received when due, will result in an immediate suspension of services for your child, until the payment has been paid. Any delinquent accounts will be placed with the Atlantic Collection Agency.

Infant Room: $169.95 per week

Toddlers : 2-5 years $145.00 week

Part-time - minimum 2 days/week $30.00 per day
*Part-time is only offered when our spaces are not full. If there is a request for a full-time space, the parent of the part-time child will be contacted and given the option of full-time enrollment. If the parent of the part-time child is not interested in full-time , we will no longer be able to accommodate for part-time.

$25.00 Registration Fee for enrollment.

Child Care Assistance
Parents awaiting Child Care Assistance are solely responsible for child care fees until such time that notification is received from Social Development stating that the parent is to receive Child Care assistance. After notification has been received the parents account will be credited in the amount of the assistance to be received. Parents will have to cover the cost of what assistance does not pay for, if the amount exceeds assistance. This policy also applies to renewals. Services are suspended if payment is not received when due.

Notice of Termination
At least 2 weeks written notice must be given before the date the child is expected to withdrawal from our program. If not, those 2 weeks will have to be paid for, even if your child is not present.

Late pick-up fee
The program finishes at 6:00pm. Any delay will cost you $5.00 for every 5 minutes ($1.00 per minute), for each child, starting at 6:00PM. Program staff do understand that delays are at times unavoidable, if this happens please call the Club to let us know you are running late.
